My Implicit Bias

I took my IAT (Implicit Association Test) on associating Asian Americans or European Americans with being a "true American" or being foreign. My result showed that I had little or no association between Asian American and European American with American and Foreign. At first, I was a little bit surprised because I feel like there is always some kind of implicit bias. Also, considering that I am an Asian-American myself, I may have more of an automatic association with other races as foreign. However, after some thought I've realized that Asians appear to be obviously foreign, whereas European Americans look more similar to "Americans". Still, this does not match my actual results. Below is a histogram representing them.

I, personally, do not think this test works. Just because I am trying to categorize between foreign and American correctly as fast as I can, does not always mean I am associating X-American as foreign everytime I get a question wrong. This test urges us to go as fast as you can except a lot of the times, I keep forgetting which side each category is on, so I have to think about "which side has the words I'm thinking of?" And after thinking of what side I must choose, I have to have my left or right finger correspond with what I'm thinking of as well. Often times, I've clicked the wrong answer out of reflex to go as fast as I can. Something that may help this test is if it were made verbally. We can verbally react faster our motor can.

Hypothetically, this test may bring out awareness that there is such thing as implicit bias, but as for an accurate measurement of how much, I don't believe this test can suffice. Similarly, I don't believe this test has potential to changing social inequality. The only way we can do that is if we talk to eachother, express ourselves to eachother, but also be very introspective within ourselves.
